I've got red wave 5 (9:48 start) for a 3.50 predicted time.

Green wave 3 with 9:40 to 9:43 start.

Easy walk from Blackheath station. I’ll be doing the same.

Blackheath is the best station for Blue, Green and Yellow starts. Red start would still be doable but I'm not certain where the entrance to Greenwich Park is as you presumably can't go through the main gate so could be better heading from an alternative station.

In 2017 I was on red start and arrived via Blackheath station. The entrance then was down the road on the left of the park as you’re walking towards it. It was clearly sign posted though and far easier than trying to get to an alternative station.

I walked to the red start from Blackheath station in 2017 & 2019. Couldn’t tell you the way but it was really straightforward and I was pleased not to have to walk up the big hill like you do if you walk up from Greenwich.

Thanks all for the info about Blackheath. I might try that as opposed to Greenwich for the Red Start.

My first morning train should just about get me there on time. If not, I see they are happy for you to start in a later wave.

So, there are wave starts, and people will be travelling out from town to Blackheath and the like over a few hours on Sunday? Hopefully this means that there'll be additional trains in both directions, as I'm planning on starting d̶r̶i̶n̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ spectating in or around Charlton early doors?

Now, that's kind of making me work on my plans. I'm coming down to spectate, but in an "ambient" fashion, not staying in any one place, but moving round the course as and when, following one friend but seeing who else I can see while I'm out. (I'm conscious that 'they' don't want too many spectators, but they needed to say that before I made non-refundable arrangements).

I'll have to have a look to see if the app is available yet.

Do we want to collect a list of numbers and times for other ambient supporters like me to look out and cheer. I'm guessing there's to be no FETCHpoint shenanigans this year...?

Sigh created a generic “share your bib number” thread and a few have already added their VLM details there. fetcheveryone.com/forum/share-your-bib-numbers-here-62045/
