Although it has been very helpful for my fitness, I regret my career change to a Postie after todays 15 mile round šŸ˜®šŸ˜‚ Manged a little 30min easy run yesterday on my day off, which seems to have helped . Lots of rollering and beating myself up with a massage gun as well. Just very tired but not sleeping very well, which is my usual when I overtrain.

Back of leg hugely improved and Iā€™d actually say is ok now.

Been out for a lovely gentle run with my mum and feeling really well. White disconcerting Iā€™m never this good after a marathon!! (Not that I am that experienced)

Ended up walking six miles today (trying to find a shop that would fix my phone screen) and felt a lot more fatigued than I normally would after walking that distance. Knees a bit stiff and sore but on the whole feeling okay pain-wise, just tired, and I think it'll take till the end of the week to catch up on sleep and feel properly recovered.

Still keeping my run streak going but just a gentle mile a day this week (on a different route to the one I did the marathon laps on - I haven't been able to face that one again just yet).

Looking forward to the medal but feeling a bit aimless now without a scheduled event till next spring!

I suddenly felt hugely tired and run down yesterday evening but after a good night's sleep i'm feeling great - legs not too bad at all and energy back - just need to give my sore foot a few more days of rest. Actually really looking forward to going for a run in due course!
