Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I found I_W’s Instagram. To say it’s impressive is an understatement and disservice to her and her lifting. Outstanding.

Aw thank you! 😊 I'm always so hard on myself in everything I do, and have to keep reminding myself how far I've come in a short time and that most of what I do isn't 'normal'!

Even though I joined Fetch when I was running, I love how I can still connect on here, even whilst doing something completely different 😊

Following on IG now :-)

I'd still like a 24kg KB for deadlifts. When I was first introduced to KBs at the gym where I worked the trainer got me using 28kg but that was a bit too much, too soon! He was good, though, challenged me to use heavier weights than I was inclined to, especially with the swing: I was worried about my back but with decent technique 16kg is fine.

This is what I was doing earlier in lockdown:
"Witcher" triple arm raises x 10, 1.5 kg (something I saw Henry Cavill doing which is apparently good for sword fighting)
Standing bicep curls x 12, 3 kg or x 6, 5 kg (straight and with a rotation)
Standing tricep curls x 10, 3 kg
Standing single arm dumbell presses x 10, 3 kg (straight and with a rotation)
Shoulder raises x 10, 8 kg KB
Side bends x 10, 8 kg KB
Wall squat x 30 s, 0 kg
Plank x 15 s, 0 kg
Sumo squat x 16, 8 x 12 kg, 8 x 16 kg
KB swing x 10, 8 kg
Forward lunge x 10, 3/5/8 kg depending on how I feel
Bent forward rows x 16, 1.5 kg
Bent forward flys x 16, 1.5 kg
Bent forward bicep and triceps x 16, 1.5 kg

What I'm now doing:
"Witcher" triple arm raises x 10, 3 kg with 5 sec rests between each set of 6
Standing both arm bicep curls and overhead dumbell presses x 10, 5 kg OR single with 8 kg KB x 3
Standing tricep curls x 10, 3 kg
Shoulder raises x 10, 12 kg KB (sometimes 8 shoulder circles too)
Side bends x 10, 12 kg KB (sometimes do a second set)
Wall squat 2 x 45 s, 1.5 kg at arms length for 30s of each set with short break between
Plank x 60 s (20, 15, 10, 10, 5 with breaks), 0 kg
Sumo squat x 20, 16 kg KB
KB swing x 20, 12 kg
Forward lunge/Russian split squat x 10, 5 kg
Bent forward rows 2 x 15, 1.5 kg
Bent forward flys 2 x 8, 1.5 kg
Bent forward bicep and triceps 2 x 15, 1.5 kg
Shoulder bridge x 10, 0 kg
Stretched sit ups x 10
Lying bent leg twists (need the right name) x 20 (10 each side)
Wall press ups, wide x 10, tricep x 10

Thanks CK2. It's surprisingly quick to do. I don't give myself much rest in between, so it's pretty good cardio too.

Plank still needs work, but bent forward flys are starting to get better by splitting the set (at least I think I can feel the right muscles engaging now).
