Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

If you press down where it says press, you can twist the little black handle to tell it how many of the 2 kg plates inside it should "hold onto". So it's currently set at 24 kg, but can go all the way down to 16 kg. Think OH said it was £100+ though.

I googled after seeing your post as it looks like a great tool and saw one in Argos for £200+

That’s not bad value GG. A single 16kg bell on its own will set you back about £70 plus delivery costs.

Not very shiny! A Wolverson basic. But I’ll post a pic. £48.

It should definitely keep me going forever more, while allowing a progression that seems like it would be doable, so I think it works out as good value. I can do about 20 sumo squats on a good day with the 16 kg we already have. Whereas I can just about move the 24 kg, but that's about it for now.

Ooh I'm still tempted by some heavier KBs!

Great to see everyone still doing what they can just now 😊 I'm feeling like a proper little athlete this morning as the 'Scottish Strongwoman' page on FB and Instagram posted a bit on me and my friend who was also supposed to be competing in May/September.

That is a great article i_w and you are a proper athlete! :)

I feel a proper lightweight with my 12kg KB and resistance bands but they do the job for me as I'm never likely to compete! LOL!

I have a 12kg on loan from the gym atm, hubby has a 24kg. I avoid moving it if I can although I have done some deadlifts with it.
Our crossfit gym is doing outdoor classes from tomorrow. I've booked onto the class on Monday and I have a PT session Thurs and Sat.

I_W I will pop off and have a read 😊 proper afleet you are!
