I haven't knitted for years but have just finished this for youngest grandson (not sure it's going to fit though 🙄)

Beautiful work MM!

I've finished a shawl in lightish weight yarn (a 3.25mm hook, which is tiny for me). Enjoyed it and not sure what to tackle next so I'm doing a couple of cowls in super thick yarn to keep my hands busy.

Shawl is on Rav here: ravelry.com - I have another Whirl so I'll be doing another triangle shawl (probably) once I can decidedon a pattern.

Thanks all. I've messaged bbka and a local beekeeper but haven't heard back yet. I expect they are too busy dusting for veroa.

Autumn seems to be the time of year that I ramp up my soap production, so that it will be ready for Christmas.

This is my latest batch, made with tomatoes from my garden:

(Just in case anyone missed it on FB!)

Freshly sieved tomato puree, mixed with a little water, made up the liquid for the soap. The colour comes from a smidge of Aussie red clay - I wish I'd used even less!

Smells good too: melissa, verbena, lemongrass & may chang.
