You absolutely are not JK, I just associate you more with running and Leicester in my brain. Would be lovely to see you again

Have doodlepolled. (I think.)

Not currently doing much in the way of crafting due to old and uncooperative thumb joints, but always happy to sit next to some crafting and craft by association.

Who might be up for a Great Fetcheveryone Sewing Bee challenge?

In conjunction with the Living well for less and with a nod to last week's GBSB the plan would to be to make something out of something else.

No real rules and no prizes, just for fun.

Guidelines:
1)Find a source of material, it could be something you are about to throw out, freecycle or bought from a charity shop (shall we say maximum £10). What that item is depends on how much of a challenge you want it to be for yourself. If you want to use a table cloth or a leather jacket they are both fine.

2) Make something else out of it. Again the challenge is yours - a coat (dog or otherwise) garment for a child, a cushion or bag anything you like

3) Haberdashery, can be bought if you have to but it would be in the spirit of the challenge to reuse from something else.

4) Time limit - Shall we say from now to the end of the month? Before and after photos to be posted here on Sunday 31st March.

ooh and non sewers could join in too. How about making a coffee table from a chair for the wood workers for example

Sounds like a good idea, but I’ve just started my T-shirt quilt challenge, so that will be taking up my crafting time. It’s more time consuming than I initially thought
