I have one blanket - 20 x 8" squares - lying on the living room floor waiting for me to seam it tomorrow. That one's not too bad, it's a baby blanket and only 20 squares. TF however, requires a uni blanket of garter squares of max 4" square - we reckon it will end up about 250 of them. I hate bloody mattress stitch.

Am I alone I’m not minding mattress stitch? Or modules as they’re fairly quick and easy to knit.

I gave 2 large balls of Aron which I thought would make a good large blanket and thought of using the pattern I did for gnome.
But it’s 1 ball red 1 Black
The pattern is a garter stitch top and bottom with a 6 row repeated pattern between.
How should I split it? Black top and bottom with stripes every pattern repeat in between?
