I was just going to ask about that!
I was thinking doing a rough cut out then put on the interfacing then cut to shape once placed

*also looks up Babette* When I was younger 9-10 years old, I was toying with the idea of doing all sorts of knitted squares and other shapes and making them into something. I remember having a dozen or so little bits but not knowing what to do with them!!

I like handknitted blankets, but am torn as to whether I hate modular knitting or sewing bits of knitting together the most. If I knit a blankie it'll have to be done as one big rectangle, either from the inside out or from end to end.

I think it was the sewing it together that put me off too! Bits drove me nuts!

I made a Babette blanket but it turned out smaller than I'd anticipated, using the pattern I had. I crochet squares together, stronger and neater than sewing & it doesn't really take *that* long (honest!).
