Not tried corner to corner yet either, though my SiL was doing one a while back.

In my yarn shop on Saturday they had some Scheepjes stuff, there was last years CAL which was really lovely and felt nice too, so I can recommend the yarn. This yarn shop is fab, it used to be a big-standard shop with lots of acrylic and standard stuff. The woman who has taken it over has kept some, like the full range of Stylecraft Special DK, but also has some of the nicer mass produced yarns. She had some brilliant long colour change stuff, it had lovely colours
