I'm playing yarn chicken and I think I'm going to lose :-(
Does anyone, by any chance, have a skein of Artesano hand painted alpaca silk lace in Wavecrest lurking in their stash that they'd be willing to part with for suitable recompense? I can't get any more since Artesano went into liquidation last year and currently my cardigan is likely to have strange 3 inch sleeves

Oh dear HB. Worth a check in the Ravelry stashes. Otherwise you'll have to re-design it as a vest top.

There's 7 in stashes, all listed as not for sale - it was the first place I looked :-(
I'm 3/4 of the way through, so a sub won't work unfortunately

I hoped there might be something close enough. Hope someone can help.

Sadly no, but it's very pretty yarn.

Another source might be Facebook pages such as Winwick?
Otherwise I hope you can find a mod that works for you.

What are you making?

HB is it worth sending a quick rav message to the people who have it in their stashes just to ask them if they'd be willing to sell you some? I don't what the default is as far as stash yarn, but it may be a while since they added it anyway and they may not have thought about it or changed it.. of course they may also have used it! But there can't be any harm asking.

I've put a post on the yarn ISO thread. I'm reluctant to "cold call" as it is against Rav guidelines
