A couple of weeks ago I ordered a big bag of buttons from Amazon. They went missing and I ordered some more. The buttons have today turned up - and there are masses of them! I'm not having a great day, and it's very tempting to sit at my desk and play with buttons, just like I did when I was three.

Just out of interest, what will you do with the buttons you've ordered?

Wobbling you've just got me looking for buttons on Amazon...thinking about doing another charity craft stall in the summer and those might be useful!

I love buttons. I've got a reasonable collection of all those spare ones that come attached to the labels in new clothes. As there's only ever one each of them, I've no idea what I'll ever do with them!

I love buttons and used to love playing with my mum's button box. I do save the ones off clothes but don't really use them.

I also went on eBay and looked at buttons-I need some small ones for Teen 1's blanket but and going to knit up first before I decide which ones I want.

Jumper finally finished! It's currently blocking.

My mum had an old cutlery box with two drawers that she used as a button box and me and my sister used as a till when we played at shops. My own button box is sadly not up to that standard.

Helegant - I'm going to admire them!

Actually, I'll probably find several projects for them. I took to decorating big letters with them for people last year, and I often use buttons in my card making. Last year I did a couple of courses in jewellery making with buttons too. I bought this lot to replenish my stock as I needed a mix of buttons for the mittens I made for my niece.
