Panad it was very easy, the hardest thing was deciding on a design with a completely blank canvas. You get plain glass which you cut to size and then decorate with various powered or chipped glass in a variety of colours, or metal shapes. It then gets fired in a kiln to fuse it and then to slump it into shape. The possibilities are pretty endless but that was the sort of thing I'd had in mind.

Teen 2 did a really lovely coaster with thin shards of green glass to make seaweed and foil fish, plus a bowl. Teen 1 did a stencilled coaster and a candle sconce with a variety of purple bits in it.

A couple of the pieces have very delicate colours, I think we were a bit light on the powdered colours, but part of the fun is waiting to see how it turns out.

I'd definitely do it again, maybe with much stronger colours.
