I finally found a bit of mojo to crochet again. Starting with revisiting a blanket which is WIP. I need to make 99 of these: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sunflower-crochet-square. Have done a few but then left it for a while, these things get a bit boring when it's lots of one motif.

Over Christmas I also lined a red wool jacket I'd started in 2014 :-o . Still not finished (I need to handstitch to finish the lining), and I'm ambivalent about it as the material's a bit itchy and I suspect it looks a bit homemade round the armholes but hey - I spent the money and put the time in so I'll bloddy well wear the thing!

Monday I had a bad day. The old me (I hope it's an old gone habit at least) would have eaten crap.

Instead I went for a walk (lucky I was on a free!) and ended up wandering round the market and buying some material for a skirt!
Hmmm

I love growing sunflowers - or rather trying to, they usually fall foul of slugs and snails.

EP that sounds like a lovely way to banish a bad day! I've just found a new craft shop not far from where I live and am looking forward to visiting it soon. It doesn't have a website, only a facebook page, but it definitely stocks yarn and fabric.
