Main (unsolicited) advice would be to watch some of the technique YouTube clips and have another go. You'll make some big improvements if you're able to get your better efficiency in your stroke than you will from working harder or getting fitter.

I watched a technique video from Rowalong this afternoon and was surprised at the difference small changes made - especially bum position and hip hinge. My hamstrings are a bit restricting on that.

Dark Horse, Row-along, Training Tall (although I might not recommend that for you, mate.  ). They've all done good stuff. Dark Horse does tekkers in great detail but the basics are much simpler.

I watched Training Tall video just because it was the only name on the list I could remember apart from Dark Horse. Now need to get back in the vicinity of a rowage machine. |

Austin (Training Tall) is a bit "over-enthusiastic American", which can grate on some people. He does know what he's talking about though. Shane (Dark Horse) is a bit more calm, considered and serious but is a real expert. |
