Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done guys!

I am now getting weighed with a surgical shoe on from last Saturday to today I’m 0.2lb down, only a fraction but as I’m incapacitated I’ll be happy with an overall minuscule gain when this is over.

I’m more or less back to pre-travel weight, which I’m taking as a big win.

Eating and exercise is pretty much back to usual routine, so fingers crossed I can shift some more before we go on holiday in 3 weeks.

Well done everyone.

Weight up 3lbs, body fat down 3%: ate junk this week, though not loads, and exercise was a bit compromised because work was busy. Waist and hips have shrunk a bit, scales suggest water retention, measurements don't. It's not muscle because (a) I only went to the gym once and (b) you don't build muscle that quickly. So I'm just going to ignore the numbers, attempt to be a bit more active and stay away from the pies.

RunnyBunny - home scales just can't do the stats except weight. It takes me months in the gym to lose 3% fat.

Great news on the measurements though.

Well done all.

Another STS here. I’ll take that, no surprise as quite a busy/sociable week.

A STS for me too. Not expecting a loss as I've been hungry in the last week so have increased my food intake.

@annadav Thanks. I'm in no rush as my goal is to lose fat and gain muscle and that's a very slow process. Being more hungry this week may be a good sign that perhaps my BMR has increased with a small gain in muscle.

To gain muscle I need to eat more, to lose fat I need to eat less 🤯

@Shades yes a very fine balance needed there but you seem to be well in tune with it.
