Slightly too loose on the waist, might have been OK but felt in danger of sliding down, but really cutting in to my calves at the hem which made them a "no". I need just below the knee length and high, slim waisted but generous over the bum and thigh type fit. Any ideas? I'm looking and trying to replace like for like with Ron Hills but even they look to be trying towards mid calf length now rather than sitting above the calf muscle as my current, very old, pair do.

The Jamaican shorts are exactly on knee length for me, or the 7/8s are ankle length (I'm 167cm, for reference). 'next level' styles are tighter at the waist, though as a pretty hourglassy person I've never had an issue with the other styles feeling loose, and they all accommodate my pit pony thighs and ass comfortably.
