I have to say, when I did wear a proper bra (I downgraded to "bralette" type crop-tops during lockdown), a Bravissimo fitting was a revelation. I *nearly* bought a bra that made me look like Jayne Mansfield, but it would have been a bit over-the-top for everyday wear. Even with the better-fitting bras I got from that fitting, it has been wonderful to ditch the things. I can just about get away with it for normal day-to-day activities, since I lost some weight and I'm probably about a C cup now.

In other news, I do love the new Tikiboo blue chain reaction pattern, but I don't really want a hashtag down my calf. π€¨

I apparantly measure a dd but they donβt really look big on me! I wear sturdy sports bras crop top things for everyday wear and oddballs to run in! The trouble I get is everything chafes when i run 26 miles!

I looked in M&S when there the other day, the only offering of their zip front ones was boring black.
Many years ago (before I started running) I had a SA with the clip but found the clip kept coming undone.

I have 1 M&S that I use for cycling and walks and the odd run but when I tried to find it again I failed which was a shame the zip ones are a big fail with me - I use them on the turbo whilst hidden in the garage (yes I have had a zip failure whilst on there!) crop tops aren't even supportive enough for day to day really but I have been known to cycle/swim in them

I always thought I was 34 C, but my measured to me well fitting soft bras are a 30 E π±π± I am not big... And would sometimes get a 34 B, but they would not fit right. Transpires the secret is to have a narrower band to fit snug, so the (*)(*) don't pul. Was quite a shock.πππ

I bought one of the M&S ones recently to wear during my weight training. It has a zip on the front. I find it to be quite uncomfortable and will be looking to find a replacement soon.

I'm aware that I was 36DD but suspect that's wrong as I am lardy

In any case, for me, they have always been an instrument of torture so I only wear them with certain tops and for certain activities. Thankfully, supportive vest tops are perfect for my daily gardening tasks Then there is half a drawer full of different bras for different things. I also could not face getting rid of the really nice matching sets I really never wear any more. They still spark joy by just sitting there in the drawer π

EP, as you are loosing weight, I suspect you changed size quite regularly! Having this conversation, I wonder how my M&S sports bra fits now. It was bought last year, when I weighed 72 kgs now I weigh 65! But I should fit back into my over the head bras now though!
