Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sounds great remember going there one winter in the early 90s doing climbing hiking kayaking etc. Lovely place

10 miles of autumn trails, nice and easy, and my heart rate behaved today.

10pm Sat. night, and fair to say, there weren't many deck chairs or windbreaks to avoid as the tide crept slowly towards high water. Cool, clear skies, v light breeze along Crosby beach. Broad oval round the coastal park, then some soft sand action - or lack of - to Burbo Bank, before a couple of miles of trail took me back to base. 61 min.

6.4 miles out and back. First run in a month following a calf strain, so quite happy with that. Not particularly quick but it helped keeping the heart rate in check (average 172, max 183).

Jono.
Morning fetchlings, the human body is a strange thing. Last night upset stomach, followed by slight asthma attack (6 puffs on the ventolin- can't remember the last time this happened) - this morning a jaunty 10 mile run.

I always used to be content with an average of 10 minute per mile - this has increased to 10.30 + per mile since the halcyon days of marathon running.

Pleased with 10.08 average per mile, this morning.
