So, today I went out with some specific goals and was pleased with the results. A new PR for 1 mile, in the middle of my overall 6k for RTS. Nice to not get wet through too. Weather forecast is showing dry but cold for the next few days, so better conditions for the build up to the weekend when it’s 10k on Saturday and 11k on Sunday. Happy running.

Nice PR jogwalker. Always nice to clear the head ElDuderino.
Two runs for me today first late morning/early afternoon was a run along the chesterfield canal to sandhill lake (edge of Worksop) around the lake and back home along the canal. A lovely run of just over 13 mile. Had a small hand held camcorder with me and stopped on a couple of occasions on the way out to film the wildlife.
Second run was 5 miles late evening in the dark with some of it along the A57 so not as pretty but still a lovely run and was pleased how the legs felt

Great run through an autumnal wood and along to the coast running beside a river. Mind cleansed.

Having gone fast the other day I decided to go long today to boost my scores in UTMOST. Very pleased with the results. Really think that I’m benefiting from the spin classes I was doing before lockdown.
