Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice 5K that went better than I thought it would as back felt a bit tight beforehand

Very brief, pretty wet but quite calm. Sandwiched between some walking.

A run, swittle :-) Great news!

A parkrun, warmup and cooldown, in pleasant, if cool, conditions. Fetch prize top had second ever outing.

Wet, very wet... however I had the my phone resting on the pushchair with the rugby on so I was suitably distracted.

Thanks, Dvorak. It was measured in scores of yards, rather than miles. Rather like an impulse purchase, I just set off oh-so-slowly. :)

progress though Swits, brilliant!

well done Toks, bloody good effort.

Gooner - running is hard enough, but with a buggy - much admiration.

lovely 5 miles this morning, chilly, but clear = gloves on.

1) 1m - 9:40(9:40/m) 134cal 6.21/10.64mph

2) 1m - 9:26(9:26/m) 136cal 6.36/8.12mph

3) 1m - 9:09(9:09/m) 133cal 6.56/7.67mph

4) 1m - 9:56(9:56/m) 137cal 6.04/8.28mph = double hill

5) 1m - 9:08(9:09/m) 135cal 6.56/9.31mph

very happy with the effort, shows there's something there, something to build on. November will see me stretching the distance to 6 miles :-0
