Yesterday's run was in my old home town and I ran past the house that I regarded as home for 43 years, despite leaving getting married, kids, etc, my Mum and Dad lived there until they pegged out, sort of sad.
today's was on my local hills and it was quite wet and cold...

9.4 miles before the heavy rain comes.
Still struggling for fitness after a big lay off over the summer. Hamstring still not quite right but if my physio says "push yourself" then that's what I'll have to do.

Not done it yet, hoping and praying that the rain will ease off later this afternoon. Really need to get out and run as I had last week off due to a rotten cold so Iβm keen to get restarted again.

Managed to get out and avoid the rain. I managed my first 5 miler. Thinking if entering the Longleat 10k as something to aim for.

First ever 5 miler? That's a milestone! Well done Little Critter!
After a delightful breakfast in bed, I went out at 9am and did a 6 mile run in the cold sunshine. Was wonderful, just jogged along the semi-countryside, listening to a podcast and really, really enjoying it.
Was pleased to have dressed correctly btw, meaning just usual shorts and T-shirt. I know if in doubt I should wear less, but when you step outside and you can see your breath it's easy to think I should have my jacket or at least a long-sleeve top. But as hoped, after a couple of minutes I was warm and never thought about the cold again. Slowly learning...
