Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

20k bike TT followed by 21.1k last big run before Edinburgh. Calves were suffering but all good. (Well, TT did not go that well but I wasn't expecting much).

Taper time hurrah!

Disappointing! Planned to do a 14 mile run early this morning but I was home before 10 miles. Gained another blister and the body wasn't playing ball!

Crowle 10k, lovely and scenic but it wasn't half warm at midday on those country lanes!

Found a new public path which crosses a field to take me onto the old regular route which had been gated off. Nice to get onto the old route again, albeit slightly shorter due to a corner being cut off. On the down side, I had some sort of stomach upset which meant that I had to walk for a few sections to maintain dignity! A bit of heavy rain but despite the afore mentioned inconvenience, a nice outing.

My longest run for 7.5 months - a whopping 6K without stopping!! Even on the dreadmill it felt bloody marvellous :)

Well done Fravage :) I would find any distance on a treadmill a real slog at any time. I hope your progress continues.
