My Nephew is stuck in Argentina. He’s safe and well atm, but very unsure about when he will be able to get flights home.

Safe and well is all good ER. And I'm pleased you know where Girl is HB. I was watching Race Around the World (which I really enjoy) last night and thinking how wonderful it was for the people to just be able to jump on buses and cross borders. Then they couldn't go to Ecuador. Slightly happier news is that we have dates for our rescheduled trip to Zambia next May (fingers crossed). Me and Mr S still hope we may be able to reschedule our Botswana trip sometime in 2020. |

I think that I’ll have to watch Race on catchup. It does appeal to me and I’ll have plenty of time, but we’re focussing on the garden while the sun shines.

I don't blame you ER When we eventually move, we will have a garden and a roof terrace to enjoy. Right now I have a shared yard, so I tend to walk along the beach

How able do we all feel to get out and run after the stay home, stay home, stay home messages on the news? I'm feeling very conflicted.

I’m in the stay at home group, but within half a mile I’m in the countryside. It’s fairly light at 5:30 in the morning so I am contemplating going out and doing a few miles then. There are unlikely to be many people around then, but if I do see anyone I give them a wide berth. (Having said that, when I was returning from a run on Saturday, before it was announced that we should isolate, I encountered several runners right across the track that I was on. Hopefully they won’t be out at 5:30!) |

I feel very conflicted too mulbs. The government did give out slightly mixed messages before the weekend about social distancing but enjoying the open air. I live at the coast and there were lots of people in small groups talking, sharing a table for drinks and playing together not observing the distancing. I think a lot was the 'well everyone else is doing it' effect. Today has been much quieter now that the stay at home message is firmer. I ran just after 6am this morning and other runners and dog walkers kept their distance, but I do still worry that I'm setting a bad example. I may swap to indoor yoga and kettlebell sessions in the yard and see how I get on. |

Hubby and I have been keeping ourselves to ourselves...and keeping distance from anyone else. I have been walking the neighbour's dog still though. Meeting her outside of the retirement home now.

I'm sure solo running, obeying the physical distancing and trying not to touch gates/crossing buttons etc has to be OK - and better for us than a Netfilx binge. Just enjoyed this: facebook.com Patrick Stewart is promising a sonnet a day |

I've been better, I wish the Government would do more. I also thought this was a safe place but I was wrong. I'm now looking for an alternative.
