Both are good I think people get a bit sniffy about pop.
Preparing for Grave of the Fireflies today - housemate has read the back of the DVD case and declared that it sounds "dull as fuck".

Finally caught up with Aftersun. Wow what a film. Loved nearly everything about it. Reminiscent of Morvern Callar - the debut by Lynne Ramsay, although for the way it was shot rather than any story similarities.

I was going to see a reissue Under The Skin today but the projector is broken, which also puts the kybosh on Barbie tomorrow. So I’ve swapped to Poor Things which I wasn’t mad about from the trailer but seems to have superb reviews from people whose views I trust so reckon it’s worth a go.

Must see Aftersun. Loved Morvern Callar (book and film) so ought to enjoy it if in the same style
