That's something I've never tried. My putting has been better the last couple of rounds because I've not stood over the ball for ages; I decide what I want to do and just do it.
I finally broke 90 for the first time in...er...more than 40 years. I just played well within myself and tried to hit the ball at 60% rather than 100%.
My partner and I came 2nd in the open on Friday; I'm hoping for a top 3 today.

Well batted.
I with my friend Pam (who is about 90) got through to the second round of the Bobby Prior (mixed 4-somes) today.
Next up we have Paul and Suki, who we have to give 9 shots to. That'll be a tough day at the office....

Played Friday (East Berks) and Saturday (Pine Ridge), bit mixed, isn't it always, but enjoyable with friends.
Oh, also had a lesson on Thursday and i think my left to right tendency was less pronounced and less frequent.
Decent finish in Kentucky too

Bit sleepy today as ended up watching more of the Canadian Open than planned. Delighted that Bob McIntyre got the job finished. great to watch

Yes, that was a great result.
My golf game seems to have gone off the boil. There's no consistency in anything. I am off to the range to see if I can find a swing that works.

He did really well to hang on despite the pressure from all around.
Only 17 days until my week in Portugal, very much looking forward to it.
Got a round this Sunday, but hoping to get to the putting green a a couple of times before then too.

Not played it yet Lammo. Scheduled for the 16th.
Just back from 3 days at the Warwickshire.
Two and a half lovely courses. (Earls, Kings and a par 3) Beautiful weather.
Won overall Stableford on days 1&2.
Mid-table obscurity in medal format on day 3.

I won the monthly senior's medal on Tuesday.
The other relevant facts are that 15 people signed up, 13 started. 5 didn't finish. So it was almost a case of last man standing. I won £8.
I took home some fizzy wine yesterday for coming second in the Captain's Away Day. It was at Brookdale to the east of Manchester. The course was as hilly as heck and the rough was impenetrable. That suited me because I wasn't hitting it far but I kept it on the short grass.
It's a mystery to me why one week I can't do anything then I have a couple of decent rounds. God knows what I'll get this week - we've got two away matches.
