I think - but again I got this info second hand - that this particular woman is revolted by the idea of sex in general and that just happens to include her husband. Not much comfort to him I guess.
I have wondered, as Anj suggested, if deep down she might prefer ladies. But if so, she's been in denial about it for a very long time.

Aha, I see.
Yes, it is a matter that requires discussion between both parties. However, my suggestion above that what is said and what is meant may not match still stands. The "it's not you, it's me" discussion. Or "I'm just not ready yet, I will be soon..." without that "soon" ever coming.
