Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’m loving the Idles at the moment. Funny how things hit you where you like it. I’m pretty much playing their latest album on loop at the moment

McG, I got ours on a Black Friday deal, so half price. But yes, the Caird Hall does generally offer reasonable prices for their events.

I'm now looking at She Drew the Gun, next February. This could prove to be a very costly thread!

I gave it another go today Cavey on account of chief banging on about it constantly. I can't get past it just being ok.

But we are going to see Tom Williams in Hudd on 1st Feb. Think he's playing Sheff in April as well.

I hadn't seen that about Bella, OM. I saw that Elbow are headlining one of the nights.
I've seen Scala a few times in Dublin and they are stunning.

Oh - hang on. By Bella - I was thinking Belladrum, Tartan Heart festival. You mean Bellahouston Park. I do remember seeing that they are playing there.

What’s been the most disappointing gig you’ve been to over the last couple of years?

Mine has to be Sleaford Mods.

Had heard amazing things. Really liked their album. But it was all a bit flat. And a fairy high knobhead quota

Love Frank Turner and as many have said found some great support acts via him. Beans for one. Loved the Arkells on his last tour. Wanted to see them again on UK tour but my off duty didn't allow it.

Next gig is Mumford and Sons in Perth in Jan.

I have a confession... I did get seated Fleetwood Mac tickets and they were the most I've ever spent on a ticket at 150 each. (Plus booking fees!) VIP seats were almost £1000.

Many thanks for the offer Joopsy but can't make that date.

Even though gigs seem to be announced more in advance than ever I still find my calendar gets filled with races first and then the gigs have to fit around them!
