Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Chief said he wasn’t overly enamoured, I was at the same show and loved them. Also saw them in January and loved them all over again. I’ll be buying.

Fontaines were OK when I saw them at Rockaway Beach at Butlins back in January.

Tonight I watched an old Oasis gig that I'd recorded on Sky Arts. Filmed at Glasgow Barrowlands. The place always seemed to have a good reputation in the music press back when I used to buy the music press, and it looked a great sweaty delight on the film but I'm interested to hear the views of anyone that's seen a few gigs there.

Barrowlands is a great venue. I have only been once, to see Christy Moore, but I would look forward to going back. Glasgow crowds have always been good, any time I’ve been there for a gig, but Barrowlands was - as you say - a sweaty delight.
