you are on a roll Jude I ran with my 4 year old in the buggy today, so heavy!!!! much easier with the baby lol. but my boy was happy and this was a special "treat"before starting reception tomorrow...they grow too fast!!!!
my own running is going ok too, gonna race a 10 miler next month and might do another marathon this year but just for fun with lots of mates. 20 secs off my 5k (flat)PB......I will get some of those pesky PB's soon

Reception is the first year at big school. So, oddly, kids start in reception aged 4 and then go to year 1 aged 5. (I'm still working it out though!)

everyone is doing brilliantly. i'm 2 years post baby and i was jubilant at a 25.04 5k the other day. LOL. however, i have shin splints now (again!) and am seeing a physio who isn't letting me run at the mo but doing lots of strengthening. *drums fingers impatiently*
i'm supposed to be doing the same 10 miler as V so fingers crossed i make it to the line. (my long runs were over 10 miles at the time of the shin prob emerging so I know I can do it).

I'm good thanks Toks. Not getting much running in, it was easier to fit it around life when he still fit in a running buggy! I intend to start again when after school clubs come along in a few years. For now I do 1 run a week and Pilates once a week and I've found having a strong core has really improved my running. How about you? Done any madly long distances recently? Enjoy your holiday Krissie, hope he sleeps through most of the travelling.
