Getting there I think KP. I'm nowhere near being able to do anything fast like intervals or exercises that involve deep movements like lunges, and get a fair bit of discomfort still, but it improves gradually each month.

It's about 4-6 months when the baby can support their own head and so running with the buggy is possible, yes?

First run after having baby nearly 6 weeks ago - slow but everything felt OK and no weeing myself which was a bonus!!! Little niggle on the left knee and a very slight ache in my lower tummy but felt fine and can't wait to get back into running 3x a week!
RuthB2, we left it until 6 months but LO didn't really like it in any buggy full stop so it was a bit hit and miss the first few times we took her out. She now loves it and keeps telling us to run faster every time now!

Ruth, we started at 5 months and has been ok, though i slow down a lot on anything bumpy because he mostly falls asleep in it so head is more relaxed and bumpy. Oliver is very fussy in it too so I always time runs at sleep time. Thankfully Parkrun is bang on first nap time. I tried the other day during a non nap time and he cried, made me look like an awful mother for running with a crying baby, and I ended up carrying him half a mile home whilst pushing the buggy! ;-)

Well done on the run Tazedai :-)

24.16 Parkrun today (without buggy), I was over the moon. Finally feeling like I'm running again rather than waddling.

Am also now somehow half a stone under pre pregnancy weight at 6 months. Wasn't expecting that after gaining 3 and a half during pregnancy :-O I'm assuming that it will slow down now that we have started weaning? I will miss the cookies and donuts when it does.

Krissie I thought you looked great in your pics, well done you and a great time at park run.

Just missed a sub 50 10km today (50.09), that's a 3 min improvement on a july 10K. Still nearly 4 away from pb but it's coming ever nearer

We'll done kp and everyone :)
We all did a 3.5m fun run today...
5yo ran/walked it all, 3.5 ran/walked then buggy for about 10% of it... 23 mo ran/daddy's shoulders.
I ran/walked/pushed buggy :)
My first run for over a year since my dodgy back and pelvis. First race and medal for 5 years! Feels good. Sore, achey but good. My PF is a bit niggly again which is bloody annoying.
I've got a 9 mile hilly trail bike ride tomorrow too... In at the deep end! Hope I cope ok.
Love to everyone xx
