No, my HR only jumps in long stuff when I fall off the path! I get noticeably more than 24hrs from the Wahoo, so good enough for me. Plus it means it doesn't need charging much in general use |

I do appreciate not having to charge the Verity Sense as often! Also when I get the low battery warning with the Verity Sense during a run, there's very little chance it will actually die during the run (believe the warning means 20% left), unlike the OH1+ so another thing that means you don't really have to plan charging in training (I'm sure we all make sure things are charged before actual events).

How do you get the low battery warning on the Verity Sense during a run, SPR? I don't think I've ever let mine get very low so it threatens to run out on a run. Is it through actually tracking your run in one of the Polar apps? (I don't do that, I just use the Polar Beat app to check the battery when I'm at home to know if it needs charging.)

Warning comes up on the watch. But can easily be missed.

Ah, thanks flanker. Never seen it. I guess it'll just fall back to the wrist HR if the battery runs out.

Yeah comes up on the watch. Sure it bleeps/ vibrates which is why I notice it.

It does (iirc depending on your alert settings). I just often ignore the random beeps and buzzes of my watch, esp if I'm on technical ground.

Makes sense. As I don't have things like auto lap on, usually when my watch beeps/ vibrates during a run I check it.

After some random thoughts/advice. My garmin isn’t holding charge very well I’m sure I only charged it on Friday did a 2hr run, a 1hr run and a short walk and today it’s at 11%. I noticed after my shower that my wrist has red marks where the sensor point is. Hubby is wondering if the garmin is doing something causing it to burn the skin? I’ve worn this pretty much every day since I got it circa 2yrs ago? Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks. |

Can't give an explanation but I had a very similar thing. I say 'had' as it has now developed into a much larger watch-sized eczema-like patch right underneath the rear of watch that I can't get rid of. I've never shown any allergy to wearing any Garmlin daily since circa 2005 and had no issue with my current Fenix 6 from when I bought it about 3 years ago until last November. |
