The latest 255 SW update added 2 mins to my 5k prediction, lol.

What you mean a SW update ignores all prior info? That would be silly. Race prediction was apparently part of the update fix. Ignore until I think it makes sense is the best solution, lol.

Is there really no way to import into the Garmin calendar? Would be nice to create race events that appear on watch via the race portfolio on Fetch.

There is a Training API that lets you create entries in the Garmin calendar. I did have a play with it a while ago, but can't remember much about it. I'm no longer on the Garmin developer programme - way too expensive - but I think Fetch is...

You can sync your Google calendar to your watch at least. I created my training plan on here, exported as iCal, imported into Google, and now it shows on my watch like normal calender events.

Having it on the Garmin calendar means it feeds into training and from what I read, morning reports are different on race day.

Morning report on race day doesn’t show you body battery, sleep feedback and HRV level so as to not to influence your mental attitude! It’s quite sensible really.

Yes it makes sense although presumably the widgets still show so could easily see it when checking something else? If they don't that would be some exemplary work by Garmin.

Yep, the info is still in the widget loop but stay strong and don’t look!
