First day to have an issue this morning. Took longer than normal to get a satellite and a huge deviation at the start. It did rectify itself and the distance of the run and first mile split was there or there about where it should have been so happy the overall data was ok. |

Actually oncloser inspection the mile splits are ok in Garmin but Fetch shows me having done the extra on the map but not in the figures. Really strange. |

For those with dual band, probably worth checking that you are configured to use both and not just GPS. What's the latest thinking on which two services to use? I've not looked into it for ages as I've never had any accuracy problems so could never be bothered. Come to, that I don't have any obvious issues on my Ultra profile which is set to GPS-only to improve battery life. |

[OT for flanker : Dual-band is different from GPS+Glonass or GPS+Galileo. everythingrf.com Only a few watches are using it at the moment, FR 955, FR 255 and Fenix 7, IIRC. I've noticed the improved accuracy for MapRun orienteering events, and playing Fetchpoint ] |

I may be being thick ... I have a course (my run to work) on my fenix 6 can I create a session with it in the calendar? or can you only use a course to navigate/race? |

Thanks Oranj but ... doh! I knew that if I'd engaged the little grey cells π. I blame the absence of sleep over the weekend. Question about which services are deemed the most accurate pairing still relevant though. |

Check the DC Rainmaker review when the F7 came out, or the 955 - he tested the various options and there was one combo that was quite a bit more accurate in difficult situations, ie within high rise city centres or heavily wooded ravines, etc. Can't remember what the combo was though !
