3 days after charge, 53%, 5 days, Run activity says 15h left. I only did one activity today and without GPS. I think my 745 would be hanging on by a thread by now.

I have to say, I am very impressed by the speed of GPS lock.

quimby witch device are you referring to?

My F7XSS now has 12 days / 43% left and it has not been charged at all. I think it was at about 70-80% somewhere out of the box, but I donโ€™t remember in the happy confusion when I got it :)
It has about 6h of all sat + double band activityโ€™s and quite a lot of tinkering around in the setting during 6,5 days now. And almost no solar charge (far up northern hemisphere, not much sun)
So I guess it will happily do twice that time with the same usage.
So about 14-15 days battery, not fully charged. With a lot of gps usage.
Easily twice what my FR945 managed.

Frosty The Bowman ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช Fenix 7S. The X has quite a hefty battery, it seems! ๐Ÿ˜€ I couldn't carry it off on my spindly wrists.

quimby I also have a very small wrist, about 6,3โ€ or 16cm.
But Iโ€™m satisfied with the size of the X.

My wrist is 13.5cm. The straps go pretty much vertically down from the watch either side of my wrist on the 7S. I'd be interested to see a 7X on it...

Well done on finding some sun, geordiegirl. I have been out in the sun, but only walking, so my coat has covered my sleeve.

It was sunlight rather than sun I keep my sleeve back over the watch to try to get a little bit of free power.

14 hrs yesterday for a 6X+ with map, route navigation, external BT HRM, BT to phone, and all the every day metrics, and 48% left at the end of the day. Happy with that, and I reckon with removing the BT to the HRM and, crucially, the phone* and turning off the various daily metrics and I can get it up to about 40 hrs without having to do any power manager optimisations :-)

* BT to the phone seems to have a huge detrimental effect on battery life (and on the phone battery). I assume this is because it us constantly synching HR, calories, steps etc.
