Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Fragile Do Not Bend
My 45s has it but I only wear it when running or walking so it’s not a feature I’ve ever paid much attention to.

Playing setting up the 7, on pulse ox my charge dropped to 8 days with it on permanently, 9 days night only and off it’s 10days.

Fully charged it was 11days but I’ve been faffing a lot the last few hours.

I’ve knocked it off for now I’ll probably add it back of when it needs charging again.

geordiegirl Can I ask how reflective the screen on your 7s looks compared to your 6s? A few people on the Garmin subreddit are saying touchscreen + solar = badly reflective screen.

My garmin told me today that the hen strap was almost out of battery which was a handy warning. Especially as it’s a polar strap.

Do you not have a free range strap then Baz? Thought battery was a touch un-ethical these days ;-)

They do it for all HRMs Baz.

Not sure if guinea fowl are supported though.

I have been out about the last few days I would say making a conscious effort that there may be more reflection but I don’t think I’d have noticed there isn’t much in it

The battery life is so much better. Need to work out what the solar intensity/luxe hours means in additional charge.
