The bit that confused me on the "race an activity" page is that there are two "people" on screen, and it gives the impression at first that you'll get some sort of visual indicator of being ahead or behind that person. But it just seems to run off into the distance, even when you're behind?

Does Garmin calculate VO2Max after walking activities as well as running? Runalyze reports a lower VO2Max "from file" figure from a walk which has surprised me.

Maybe it calculates it for al activities, but only updates baselines for those based on the certain profiles (used to just be 'run' for non-wheeled activities, but they added 'trail run' on recent models).

Pretty sure walk has always been included with the same parameters. What I don't recall is whether walk has its own separate VO2 Max. Cycling would be separate from running for example.

Anyone having problems with battery? I had an issue with my 945, and it drained quickly suddenly, no updates or so. Ha an customerservice ticket going, but after two new "cycles" of charging, it disappeared.. But today it suddenly started to drain again. Usually holds a week easily. but now it drained to 2% since friday.. annoying..
