Hills of Death (HOD)
We can’t keep conceding at least 2 every game (we did on Thursday and last Sunday) even if we get 2 goals it papers Over the cracks. Ange style is attack hopefully we’ll score more than the others if not we’ll lose. Can’t use the injury excuse Bournemouth, Brentford and a few others are doing ok with mass injury crisis. |

There’d better be about 10 minutes of injury time in this game

That’s got to be the end of him. They’d be definitely in a deep relegation fight now but for the fact there’s four awful teams below them - and he’s just lost to one of them.

I'll say it again: Spurs have had injury crisis after injury crisis for the last 25 years. Who is looking at their physios, S & C staff, sports science, training ground and rehab facilities? Is that where the actual problem is? Is Ange any good? Well he got a 5th place finish last year when they didn't have all these injuries. And if they sack him who do they get in to replace him? And with 6 days of the transfer window to go? Spurs won't go down because there are at least 4 worse teams and if they get some players back fit soon they'll be fine. And I still think Leicester are going down but it's the hope that kills you. |

I’m a neutral but felt Palace was a wee bit hard done by. Brilliant debut for Esse. Goal within 30 seconds of coming on.

2 wins on the bounce for Everton. Of course, it'll never last. Moyes will start playing to not lose the minute we meet a top 6 side........

Any evidence that Spurs have had worse injuries than any other club this season or in PL history, or is it just a vibes things? bbc.co.uk There is this article from last season. Spurs had the most injured players of 22, but it isn't really a stand out figure. There were a dozen teams with 18 or more injured players. They were also 9th in terms of days lost to injury. It is a complicated area, which injuries are we putting down to the medical staff? An opponent decides to lunge at your player and breaks their leg and has them out for a year that is no fault of the medical staff. Same with ACL's, not such big factor in the men's game, but an epidemic in the women's game. He got 5th but that was new manager bounce in the first 10 games, followed by some pretty abject stuff for much of the rest of the season. They finished 2 points off the Champs League spots but also it would have only needed a couple of losses and they would have fallen to 8th or so. The squad is low quality, but his tactics have been naive and he hasn't been willing to adjust. I actually quite like Spurs, but my dislike of Big Ange has me enjoying each defeat. |
