I will be renewing my season ticket Bazo. No idea when it will start or what league we will be in but I am fortunate enough to be able to afford it.

They could not change the VAR rules hf way through the season as that would have "destroyed the integrity of the league".
Yet they are talking about behind closed door, playing neutral grounds, playing 30 minutes each way.........
But it will not destroy the integrity of the league.

Go figure that one out

Dick!
Aston Villa one of the bleating six teams at the bottom end of the Premier League screaming " foul play" and only interested in self with regard to the proposal to play games at neutral venues and want relegation removed ........ but how they whinged last year when Leeds had to let them score to stop them crying.

Oh how things change in 12 months!

GC - totally agree with you. Changing var would have been a travesty mid season (apparently) but changing the first rule written about the league (below) is fine...

Premier league, rule 1: "Each Club shall play two League Matches against each other Club each Season, being the Home Club in respect of one such League Match and the Visiting Club in

respect of the other."

Dick, why would any of the bottom 6 accept it? They've all taken points from 50+% of home games and about 30% of away games. Why would any club accept those terms?

As a villa fan, we deserve to go down on the balance of the season so far (as do Norwich). Neutral grounds is a crap idea.

Let them play games at home. As soon as fans gather in numbers outside, thus flaunting the mass gatherings instructions, enforce neutral grounds. At least they would have had they chance and blew it.

My original point was they were say the VAR rules could not be changed half way through the season because of integrity. Now they are looking at everything possible to get the season done. Where is the fairness in it all. Until it is mathematically impossible to stay up why should any club get relegated?
Look at leicester before you tell me it is definitely going to happen.

Norwich are in the quarter final of the FA Cup. We have never been in a final, let alone win it.

But the whole season should just be scrapped.

It is not sour grapes, it is the fact that there are people out there dieing. A bloke I served with in the RN who I know well spend 2 weeks in a ventilator, 2 of my brothers were personal friends of Dave Greenfield (The Stranglers keyboardist), yet the EPL are still trying to come up with finishing the season.
Makes me fucking puke

Meanwhile - Liverpool want the Womens Season scrapped for safety reasons yet think the mens season should be completed.

But the fact the womens team is at threat of relegation and the mens team were going to be Champions had nothing to do with this !

Ah, the beautiful game, remember that? Let's put down some jumpers and have a socially-distanced kickabout. Long shots only, and no hugging and kissing.
