We can do without it, but right now, ok a couple of hours earlier, I'd like to watch a game. After watching cricket all day.

One way or another the season needs to conclude ( average points or play when safe to do so). I wouldn’t travel to a neutral venue & a message from Jurgen would stop most of those who would consider doing so.
Once the worst of this period has passed, life will return to relative normal. I find it horribly frustrating that people get so angry about a virus with no cure, compared to the thousands who die each year of cancer ( and other illnesses) when the treatment exists but they live in the wrong postcode or can’t afford the treatment. Sorry but so much hypocrisy. Let’s remember the clapping for health workers when their pay rates are reviewed or dodgy contracts handed out to hospital suppliers in years to come. Games behind closed doors may well need to be a factor next season, as this virus continues. What happens if there is another wave half an through next season?

I’m not sure how we get on to clap for carers for Brendan or cancer treatments, I do t disagree with you but have no idea of its relativity in this context.
As per my previous post, what what happens at Lincoln or Shrewsbury when they play behind closed doors?
As for next season they have a perfect opportunity now to put a rule in place that says if the league cannot finish in x amount of months it will be decided on a PPG basis.

And I don’t think life will return to relative normality, I think many things will fundamentally change forever. I’m not sure how that works at mass events but I just can’t see it being the same again.

It was late........
There is a lot of talk about changes, and how things should or must be different in the future. I hope some parts of society & systems do change but this will be determined by the current cost to large organisations that will always seek profit against the will and critically, action and voices of the public.
Speaking of large orgs and profits..... club owners will complete the season because their income from TV will say so.

I'm really negative about any changes. As hinted at above. Once this crisis is starting to diminish 'people' will revert to type.

Joopsy - "what what happens at Lincoln or Shrewsbury when they play behind closed doors?"
Without a massive subsidy payout, they fold. As do most of the EFL.
Bury might be the only club that this all benefits.

@Dick! Just for normality I presume? Leeds to be awarded the European Cup as well?
