Of course it is Phil. The only driver is money, not "integrity"

If the only way to resolve the PL is behind closed doors for "integrity" at what level does that cease to be true? Are we really advocating that the championship should be determined on points per game or similar and the PL not? What about league 1? What about league 2? What about the conference (which is to all intents a professional league)?

End the season now.
promotion from automatic positions based on points per game / points at halfway with a small number of playoff matches where teams need to be split.
No relegation this year, 1 extra relegated in 21/2 and 22/23. Use Bury's demise to allow for 1 up from conference.
Increased size of league covers the "missing" games for TV, no need for contract extension.

All clubs have made some questionable decisions over the years. Even some at 'the Theatre of Dreams' ;)
If the German league gets underway from the 16th of May, the EPL will follow soon afterwards.
