Didn't get a lane to myself today but there was a double width one for us slow swimmers. Only 2 other people in it so overtaking wasn't a problem. Did just over 1km and managed 200m non-stop. Need to practice non-stop swimming every couple of weeks so I'm ready for open water when it's (a lot!) warmer :-)

We’ve had an update from the pool that they’ve got the spare parts and the engineers are I’ll be on site tomorrow. The job should take no more than 5 days so I might be back in the pool next week, which would be nice.

The pool opens again on Sunday! I've booked for the 8 o'clock session. Can't wait to get wet again!

A bit busy in there this morning with a lot of familiar faces reuniting! I got 1700m done which felt like plenty, and it wasn't as slow as I'd expected it to be after 3 weeks without a swim. Hopefully I can get back to the regular routine of Tuesday/ Thursday/ Weekend and rebuild the swim fitness again over the next few weeks.
