Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

And the next checkpoint checked this morning. 2km in the pool felt like a real slog today but it's done.

Planning to splash on Saturday and Sunday morning this weekend so should get another checkpoint ticked off if all goes well.

I splash a couple of times most weeks but it's really a token thing between gym and sauna, so rarely much more than 200m.

It's not worth having to wash my hair for less than a mile, Greg. ;-) I only go to the pool for the pool and usually early before work so it's very much a case of getting in, getting it done and getting out.

Yep, fair enough. If I was going to the pool as my sole reason for going to Nuffers it would be more than 200m. That's for damn sure*.

2.6km done this morning in a fairly quiet pool. 300m warm up, then 1 x 400, 2 x 300, 3 x 200, 4 x 100, 300m easy to warm down. All pretty steady, nothing dramatic and no fast bits. Felt a lot better than I did on Thursday.

Goldilocksed the swim this morning. 2.1k done, past the penultimate checkpoint. I'm on the final leg.
