Finishing work early on Christmas Eve watch: have you got finishing work early on Christmas Eve?

On top of that if you take the day off it counts as a full day's leave instead of half like it always used to. Miserys. I'm letting my team skive off after lunch and I'll take the heat when I come back in after Christmas. You can't really decide to change that just 3 weeks before Christmas, especially when the holiday year ends at the end of the month and people have used it all up because we can't carry any over into the new year.
