At the end of the day, it is simply a free online game with no rewards so it's not supposed to be something that causes anybody stress or anxiety. If letting things pile up would cause you difficulties then perhaps leaving is the better option. I don't believe anybody would bother too much one way or the other if you chose leaving and rejoining as the better path for you.

It was a little while before I came back, then fell in love with it, and found I was enjoying it more than WSW! I have become more ‘laid back’ about it over the last couple of weeks because life is getting in the way, and my mileage is down so I’ll just let it build up a little and see how I feel!
