My new bug today and my only bug. 13 mile run/walk this afternoon then an extra 4.5 just to squash the bug! Feeling a bit hacked off!

As Flatlander says, you also need to leave your home circle, either before or after you go through the bug's circle. If a bug proves to be inaccessible, you can mark it as such.

I now have a high score of 25652 with only foot work (mainly running, some walking). I don't think it will go more than that with my current fairly high mileage. Pretty much since lockdown I have been in a high mileage, low intensity groove, which I don't think is particularly good for me at my age (80 to 110 km/week, plus walking up to 30 km). I think I need to cut the mileage and polarise my training. I am thinking of going right back to a 10 km programme to see if I can get a bit of speed back. I'm the kind of guy that can't ignore bugs and flowers on my patch, so I think I will have to drop out of Fetchpoint for the sake of getting a bit more rest and some higher intensity shorter stuff. It's been fun, though, and thanks to jelly for talking me into this wonderful game!
