Yes most of my bug drop points are straightforward but the eastern quadrant of my home circle goes up on to the empty openness of the Mendips where hedges, trees and the odd barn are my only reference points. I know most of them now but I generally end up going a bit further than I need, I’ll work forward from the last known point within the circle and let my watch tell me when I’ve done another 200m or whatever. Having slogged all the way up there it would be a disaster to get home with my bug still in tow! 😂

I have very few "exit" points for my circle that are on paths or roads, so not too bad to learn . But the circle on the route planner would help!

I have a similar problem on the Blackdowns, Martin. There's also a LOT of private fields that I used to just leave bugs in, but now I get them re-drawn to be hoovered up.

You haven’t sympathy Martin. Almost my entire circle is open fields. It’s a rare bonus to get a bug on a road but at least I’m getting to know all the fields round my house very well and my farmer neighbours are very forebearing (or just think I’m mad!)

I have about 5 viable routes out of my circle at the moment, despite living in a village. When it's drier I'll have a few more options, but I don't think it reaches double figures.

That made me check how many exits from my circle, on a path or road, I have. 27. Counting very close together options as one per group, rather than singly, around 20. Quite a few I've never used. Could be a project (There are also quite a few more "heading across field" opportunities, of various practicality, but nearly all pointless with so many other options.)

It's 22.45, and I'm seeing the redraw problem too. Could it be a problem like the limited number of 'follow roads' allowed for route plotting? Once the requests are used up, you have to wait until the next day for the next allowance.

I'm getting the map problem this morning. As soon as I pan or zoom all the markers vanish.

That sounds like exactly the same problem I have been having for the last week. Try using Plot a Route or load up a previous run and overlay them with Fetchpoint. The markers don't disappear on those. The problem appears to be limited to the Fetchpoint game map.
