Sushi.
Also, to get of bugs do you have to collect the before you go out of your circle or if you pass them after do they still get squished?

Do remember to go out of the circle! I've messed that up a few times - there ought to be a badge for that too ;-)

......and make sure you leave your circle by more than just a few metres, because your Garmin may record inaccurately and think you are still inside your circle even if you have gone just outside. To be sure, go at least 200m outside the circle.
Similarly, if you are trying to get a bug, jewel etc, go as close to the centre of the marker's circle rather than trying to just "nick" the edge of it.

Garmin GPS malfunction today. In WSW terms, it recorded my run two squares east and two squares south. Most frustrating as the location of my red bug I ran straight through and I missed most of my flower beds! It also had me as running across the local golf course, somewhere I never venture. Looks like I will have to go out again later.

Has anybody else had a similar issue?

I suspect most of us have, at some point, had GPS tracking issues - usually completely random and solved by turning off and on again. Can't recall having one that severe but there have been a few frustrations along the way.

One of the benefits of this game is that it doesn't rely exclusively on GPS generated routes for your score. If you don't fancy going back out - and, frankly, who would blame you if you didn't while it's this bliddy cold - you can manually plot the route you actually covered then update your training log entry to look at the saved route rather than the auto-generated one.
