My score has been plummeting, by over 1/3rd
Seemingly counter intuitively, it's because 30 days ago I had my highest daily score, 3,439. That was due to 2,784 points for having lots of flowers stolen! The consequence of that is when I water my few remaining flowers I don't get as many points as I used to.
I think some Fetchies have sussed out my flower routes, because every time I start to build them up again, someone comes along and steals them for some easy points and I'm back to the beginning again
I remember Oranj's post a few pages ago outlining the way that flower watering and stealing works.
It doesn't help either that I've reduced the amount of cycling I'm doing.
Here's the chance for everyone to start overtaking me

It is annoying when you've been nurturing some flowers and someone pinches them before you've been through them a couple of times. The thing is that you can build up the points again instead of having to wait the whole 6 weeks so can be advantageous to you.

Flatlander, I have been tempted to go out and harvest some of your haunts. But, I have been too lazy to do that.

Ted, it's probably not worth your effort because there is so little to harvest these day! It's hardly worth ME going out these days

This may have been asked before but...... I see on my account that others have picked my flowers - 58 points worth - but how do I work out where these were??

You can't as they are no longer markers on the map. However, there are likely to be new flowers planted by the picker in the vicinity of the picked ones. So if you know where you have been in the last 6 weeks...

How does watering the flowers work? Specifically I planted a flower on the 14th October and ran over the same area on the 16th October and it didn't get watered. Is there a duration that must elapse before it can be watered?

It's random ..... The chances of it being watered improve the longer it's been since you planted ( I think ) up to 4 weeks when it then dies if not watered
