You could also try moving your home point in land a bit.

The problem with GPS tracked is that I swim in a lake within my circle, but I can't swim out of the circle in order to squish bugs that are in the lake.

That's a pretty novel problem, perhaps you should consider an aquathlon

After weeks away I'm after some quick wins, and the best way is obviously to cycle somewhere someone else makes a habit of cycling to pick up plenty of flowers worth 20.
However, looking for miles around, very nearly all the flowers are worth 1, even when there are three flowers practically in one spot, as if someone has uploaded their training three times and only done it once. Anyone else noticed this?

It could just be that they loaded several runs at the same time? I was on holiday and uploaded my runs when I got home and was rewarded with lots of 1 pointer flowers as you have seen ChrisHB. They would get the same planted date

These are locals whose training/commuting habits I've often noticed but not exploited.

I have somebody who does that - bulk uploads so loads of 1 pointers, but if those bulk uploads go through one of my bugs, it fines me every time they have past it so I can go from a -4 to a -20+ after a single bulk upload!!
