Crikey, a bit complex. Sounds like its best not to think too hard and just keep running, planting new flowers. Thanks both.

I'm hoping some of the world championships marathon runners are fetchies. I have a traffic light on the course

Do bugs live forever. A pregnancy lay off has resulted in serious infestation! I'm also hampered by a river bisecting my home circle which makes a lot of them inaccessible to me. Will I ever see red bars again!?

Bugs live for 30 days.
If they are inaccessible then you can report them and they'll move somewhere else for you - occasionally, if you're lucky, they'll try to respawn in a spot already occupied by something else and disappear. Once a location has been marked as inaccessible, nothing will ever appear there in future

but .... if you move your home point, all the bugs are respawned in your new circle with a new 'date of birth', and the 30 day life cycle starts again from scratch. So it IS possible for bugs to live forever, if you move your circle often enough

This game is a positive disincentive to run in London.
